  • approximately 40,000 residents

  • serving a regional trade area of nearly 210,000 

  • with total operating budgets of $38.8 million

  • more than 380 employees

  • capital expenditures of approximatley $50.0 million

Major Accomplishments

  • Restructured operations resulting in City’s highest bond rating and fund balance.

  • Eliminated operational inefficiencies, reduced long-term expenditures by approximately 15 percent and maintained existing service levels.

  • Assisted in establishing Texas A&M University-Kingsville expansion campus for the Engineering program.
