Leonardo Olivares has been dedicated to serving Texans in Washington, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley.

His career encompasses public policy and management for two U.S. Congressmen, five Texas Senators, three municipalities, and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (formerly UT Pan American).

 

Olivares also has served in leadership positions for professional, academic, and nonprofit organizations.

 

He earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics from the University of Texas Austin, his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (formerly UTPA), and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (JD) from the University of Texas School of Law.

Olivares enjoys freelance writing when not at a local gym in Texas, Colorado or Costa Rica.
